Kostrena :
Kostrena is a place from which you look reveals the entire bay. Enjoy the scent of the sea, singing birds, walk along the nearly 3 km of coastal paths or take a swim in one of the natural beaches.
Wheather you approach from the west or east Kostrena is easy to find. From Zagreb or Ljubljana by car there is only an hour and a half drive and enjoying the beautiful sea is closer than ever.
If you decide to sport, available are :sailing, diving, tennis, jogging, cycling, exercising on machines in the countryside at the top of our fores promenade – Trim trails. The coastal path length is more than 3 kilometers and is a perfect opportunity for long walks by the sea. If you want a break, with a coastal path were placed benches, and children will find their fun on the playground. If you wish for city crowd, shopping, museums, cinemas or theaters – Rijeka, the nearest city, is only 5 kilometers away. Kostrena is an ideal starting point for discovering the beauty of Kvarner and Gorski Kotar in combination with accommodation outside the bustle of the big places next to the blue sea and the promenade.
Hiking trails – marked hiking trails to beautiful places are bordered by stone walls, but what paths gives a special charm to the scents of a variety of plants that bloom right next to the track. Sage, wormwood, thyme, heather, cyclamen, snowdrops, orchids, crocuses, some hyacinth, maritime pine, holm oak and many other plant species make this track really magical.
